What types of payments does Meow Wolf accept?

Meow Wolf accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa credit cards, and most debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

As of May 1st, 2024, our Meow Wolf location in Denver is a cashless operation. A Cash-to-Card kiosk is conveniently located at our Denver exhibition, where you can transfer your cash to a Mastercard prepaid debit card.

Meow Wolf Grapevine, Meow Wolf Santa Fe, and Meow Wolf Vegas continue to accept cash at this time.

 

Q: Is it free to use the Cash-to-Card kiosks? 

A: At our Meow Wolf in Denver, the Cash-to-Card kiosk is free to use. You will not be charged a fee to transfer your cash to a card or to use it for payment (in the exhibitions or anywhere Mastercard is accepted in the U.S.)
 
Our Meow Wolf in Las Vegas does not manage AREA15 Cash-to-Card kiosks. AREA15 Cash-to-Card kiosks will charge a fee for transferring your cash to a card. 

Meow Wolf Grapevine, Meow Wolf Santa Fe, and our Meow Wolf in Las Vegas continue to accept cash at this time. 

 

Q: How much cash can I load onto a Mastercard prepaid debit card at the Cash-to Card kiosk? Is there a minimum amount required?

A: There is no minimum amount to load onto the card, and you can load up to $500 onto one Mastercard prepaid debit card at a time. 

 

Q: Can I reload the payment card at a Cash-to-Card kiosk?

A: No, these cards are not reloadable. 

 

Q: How can I check the balance on my Mastercard prepaid debit card?

A: Provided you opt in to receiving text message notifications, you will receive a text message with your remaining balance after each transaction. You can also call the number on the back of your card at any time.

 

Q: Why is Meow Wolf going cashless? 

A: Cashless, contactless transactions are faster, safer, and more secure. It's another way we are hoping to provide an even more streamlined and worry-free experience. 

 

Q: What should I do if the Cash-to-Card kiosk takes my cash but does not issue me a card? 

A: Please take the receipt that lists the amount of cash deposited to the Guest Services team. Our team will do everything they reasonably can to work with the Issuer to verify the error and make sure you receive the correct funds on a Mastercard prepaid debit card. 

 

Q: Do I need to enter any personal information into the Cash-to-Card kiosk? 

A: No, you will not be asked to enter any personal information to load cash onto a Mastercard prepaid debit card.

 

Q: What if I don't have enough money on the card to cover my purchase? 

A: Don’t worry, you will not be charged any penalties or fees if you attempt to make a purchase that exceeds the funds on your card. You will need to provide another form of payment to complete the transaction or load additional money onto a new Mastercard prepaid debit card at one of the Cash-to-Card kiosks.

 

Q: What if I still have funds on my card when I leave the exhibition?

A: Your Mastercard prepaid debit card can be used anywhere that accepts Mastercard.
