Can I bring my camera or take videos?

What is the photography and recording policy at Meow Wolf?

Personal, non-commercial photography is permitted at Meow Wolf for general admission ticketholders. Professional recording equipment, tripods, drones, and similar gear are prohibited. Live streaming is never allowed. Some events have additional restrictions.

Allowed:

Cell phones
Standard cameras (personal, non-commercial use)

Prohibited:

Professional recording equipment
Photography/camera lights
Tripods
Gimbals
Selfie sticks
Telescoping lenses
Drones

Some artists have special requirements that affect this policy — for example, comedians who prefer no video recording, or certain burlesque shows with additional restrictions. Check your event listing for details before you arrive.

Live streaming at Meow Wolf is not allowed.

Buyout events may have their own photography terms. Check the Events page for specifics, or email help@meowwolf.com to connect with our Guest Experience Team.

Now go explore — and maybe leave the drone at home.
